On Saturday, March 15, 2025, the Women of Tomorrow® Mentor & Scholarship Program celebrated its 24th Annual Gala and over 28 years of working to improve the lives of at-risk high school students by raising $800,000. The Batchelor Foundation matched over $100,000 in funds raised, doubling the impact of every program donation given.

The La Dolce Vita Gala was sponsored by honorary chairs Caroline and Steven Tanger, and led by Founder & President, Jennifer Valoppi, and Philanthropic Chair, Marisa Toccin Lucas, alongside co-chairs Daniela Swaebe and Michael Comras, and Christina and David Martin.

Women of Tomorrow® Co-Founder, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle, joined NBC News anchor José Diaz-Balart in raising funds for a Batchelor Foundation matching grant that will support several hundred of Women of Tomorrow® Mentees.

Julie Peyton received the Mentor of the Year Award in recognition of her unwavering dedication to

empowering young women through education, mentorship, and guidance. During the program, guests had the opportunity to bid on a luxurious European Cruise with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, an exclusive Circuit of the Americas and IMSA race experience donated by The Collection®, along with an unforgettable dining experience for five couples, generously provided by Jeffrey and Tina Miller.

Women of Tomorrow® Graduate Sashi Cayard, who holds a master’s degree in human resource management, inspired the crowd with her touching story of breaking through the negative cycles of her youth to achieve personal and professional success.

Legendary music producer and executive Clive Davis was among the attendees, as was OG Influencer Nikki Haskell.

The Annual Gala provides critical support for the Women of Tomorrow® Mentor & Scholarship Program, which mentors approximately 4,000 at-risk, young girls annually, in public high schools throughout South Florida and Metro Detroit. Women of Tomorrow® has a 98% high school graduation rate among an at-risk population and has given out approximately $9 million in scholarships to higher education.
