Women of Tomorrow® Metro Detroit proudly celebrated the 9th Annual Inspiring Detroit Dinner on May 28, 2026, raising more than $250,000 to support their mentoring and scholarship program serving over 1,000 at-risk, high school girls throughout Metro Detroit each year.

The evening brought together community leaders, mentors, students, and alumnae to celebrate the life-changing impact of Women of Tomorrow® and the opportunities it creates for young women across Metro Detroit, made possible by the generosity and commitment of our Program Partners, Sponsors, and Supporters.

Guests had the privilege of hearing from our distinguished honorees, Jenny Meier, Faye Nelson, and Linda Nosegbe, who shared their dedication to Women of Tomorrow®, and their experiences as influential leaders making a difference in our community.

The program also featured powerful remarks from Women of Tomorrow® seniors, Camryn Martin and Ghalya Sharif, and Women of Tomorrow® Alumnae, Zion Parker, who spoke about the impact the program had on their educational journeys and personal growth.

A special highlight of the evening was the recognition of our 2026 Mentor of the Year, Kim Doverspike. A founding mentor and dedicated volunteer for the past 15 years, Kim currently mentors at Melvindale High School, and exemplifies the commitment, compassion, and leadership that define the Women of Tomorrow® mission.
