Dr. Diane Walder

Beauty reflects a healthy mind, body and lifestyle. We have become more health and longevity conscious than ever before. Looking as young as you feel is an essential quest for longevity. The desire to return to that youthful glow results in a dramatic increase in the number of men and women who have been seeking the advice and care of medical doctors.

Men and women are turning to one of the most prominent practitioners, Diane Walder, M.D., a board certified dermatologist, who has earned a reputation as one of the region’s foremost specialist in cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery. One reason for her success is that Dr. Walder’s overall goal is to enhance her patient’s self-assurance and confidence necessary to have a successful edge in their professional and private life.

Dr. Walder’s practice utilizes many different technologies and treatments for improving and maintaining healthy beautiful skin. She is one of the country’s leading users of injectable collagen, filler agents and Botox. These agents are used artistically to diminish facial lines and wrinkles. Dr. Walder specializes in the latest most effective devices for skin enhancement. Fraxel Re:pair: a fractionated Co2 Laser, this treatment tightens skins, corrects severe damage, wrinkles, irregular texture and age spots. Thermalift: a radio frequency device for tightening skin on the brows, jowls and neck; and Prolite, a skin rejuvenation system for the face, neck and arms. The carbon dioxide resurfacing laser is used for deeper lines and wrinkles. Other laser treatments are available for age spots and broken blood vessels. It is her intent that each patient receives the appropriate skin care and treatments to make their skin look its natural best.

Dr. Walder’s skill and experience in medicine are backed up by impressive academic and professional credentials. She received a bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude in Biology from William Paterson University. Later, she earned her medical degree at Rutgers Medical School. She completed an internship in internal medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and completed her residency in dermatology at The University of Miami were she has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. Dr. Walder is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

As a single mother of two, Dr. Walder has dedicated herself to children’s charities. She is a founding member of Women of Tomorrow a mentoring program for underprivileged young women; Honorary Board Member of the Sundari Foundation, she has sat on the Board of the Childrens Home Society, the Bass Museum, the advisory Board of the Miami City Ballet School, and the Miami Art Museum.
