Born and raised in Detroit , Gail graduated from WMU in Kalamazoo and has lived in scenic tourist spots throughout Michigan’s western shore, enjoying Lake Michigan and all the natural attributes of Up North living. Currently an Account Executive at Hour Media in Detroit, Gail has served as the Director of the Lakeshore Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in South Haven and Director of the Mackinaw Area Tourist Bureau. She moved back to the Detroit area to take on the role as Director of The Downtown Birmingham Principal Shopping District and worked for the Mayor of the City of Dearborn to facilitate the creation of three shopping districts.
She is actively involved in numerous charities and has a long history of serving on non-profit boards and civic associations throughout the State.
You can find her at the corner of Maple and Woodward every Woodward Dream Cruise donning a poodle skirt and collecting money for Leader Dogs for The Blind. Presently she sits on the Board of Directors of the Ronald of Mc Donald House of Metro Detroit and the Field Zone after school care facility in Southfield.
Mentoring comes naturally to her as throughout her professional career she has assisted young women in honing their craft, setting goals for their personal and professional growth and encouraged them as well as her own daughters to realize their potential. Gail has five daughters and eight grand children , enjoys kayaking, tai chi, traveling Up North and being actively involved with her family.
