Elena Brouwer, Director and Chief Etiquette Officer of the International Etiquette Centre, is recognized as an international expert in her field. She has developed unique etiquette, international protocol, and personal image programs to fit the diverse needs of her clientele.

She has helped professionals, international organizations, private and Fortune 500 companies become more successful by polishing up the image, business and social skills that make them stand out from their competition.

Along with her team, Elena offers corporate training seminars on business and dining manners, seminars on customer service, and etiquette workshops for teenagers and college students. These seminars provide future and present executives with the business etiquette tools to be more effective in the global arena and in daily business interactions.

Thanks to her bilingual skills in both English and Spanish, Elena is sought after internationally as a speaker, educator, and presenter.

Elena is a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington and is certified as an international etiquette consultant. In addition, she is an instructor of etiquette courses at the University of Miami Koubek Center and the Florida Small Business Development Centers.

She is a member of the Association of International Image Consultants, and a member of the American Society of Training and Development.  She graduated from the Patricia Stevens Modeling and Finishing School and attended Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Elena has been selected to serve as Ambassador of Commerce of Florida At-Large by the International Business Council of Florida. She has been awarded certification by WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise), one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation.

She is an active member of Toastmasters International, the Miami Council of International Visitors, a mentor for Women of Tomorrow, and a mentor for University of Miami School of Business.

She writes a column on social graces for Social Affairs magazine.

Elena has written an etiquette guide “99 Tips for Proper Business Etiquette.
