Dr. Terry Morrow

Dr. Terry Morrow is currently the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs in the College of Health Care Sciences at Nova Southeastern University and is an Assistant Professor, teaching in the areas of leadership, conflict resolution and ethics. She is also the President of Partnerships for Leadership and Transformation, LLC, and is a Florida Supreme Court Mediator and Certified Christian Conciliator.  Dr. Morrow has been appointed by the mayor to serve on the Education Advisory Board of the City of Sunrise and enjoys doing Animal Assisted Therapy with her dog Katie at a children’s hospital and library.  Previously, she was the Director of the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement at Nova Southeastern University where she directed the following areas:  Leadership Development, Spiritual Life, Multicultural Affairs, Civic Engagement, International Student Affairs, and the Student Government Association.  Dr. Morrow has served on the Florida Board of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators as the Co-Chair of the Student Leadership Programs Knowledge Community for five years and is a founder of the of the South Florida Diversity Alliance.   Her passions include cultivating human potential with individuals and within systems, promoting inter-group dialogue, and fostering civic engagement.  She has completed her Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and believes that we must both cultivate individual and community strengths as well as collaboratively address the challenges that hinder our collective potential.  Dr. Morrow has lobbied for HR 808, a bill in Congress that will create a platform for peace in our communities, schools, families and world.  She is also a founding member of a nonprofit ministry to empower the Christian community to address domestic abuse in our churches and communities and formerly led the Peacemakers Ministry at her local church.
