Diane Cross is currently an adjunct instructor at Henry Ford Community College, teaching media classes. She tries very hard to mix ‘life lessons’ into her classes as she wants to prepare students for the work world. Her background includes many years in the radio and television business as a writer and reporter; with news, traffic, weather, and community affairs being my specialties. Her career began in the automotive industry with Ford, where she received her Master’s Degree in Business, her undergraduate degree in Communications called her into radio. She’s raised two children as a single parent during her days of working full time and going to school. She tries to use those experiences in her teaching, as she tries to understand and be compassionate toward her students. She hopes to ready her students, for more than just ‘work’, but also for life and the real world.
