Angela Johnson

Ms. Johnson received her B.A in Public Relations from Wayne State University in May 2002, and is presently working on completing a M.A in Counseling Psychology from WSU. Angela’s goal is to earn a Ph.D. in Psychology specializing in Individual and Marriage therapies. She also is the Owner and Executive Director of a small Event Planning business.

Ms. Johnson is actively involved in a variety of volunteer and community efforts. She currently volunteers at Metropolitan Baptist Church in the Food Ministry Program distributing and preparing food boxes for neighborhood families; as well as working with other charitable programs that assist the homeless with food and clothing. Angela was appointed for three years as the Newsletter Editor for the Detroit Rotary Club, mentored young girls at a local alternative high school for at-risk youth, served on the Public Relations and Event Planning Committee for the American Cancer Society Detroit Cattle Barron’s Ball, and was on the Public Relations and Marketing Committee for the Detroit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and has participated in the annual Cancer Relay for Life Walk.

Angela’s enjoys traveling, golfing, dining, cooking, shopping, attending museums and the theatre, dancing, listening to music (jazz, R&B Soul) and the arts.
